Colm formerly ran The Elite Analysis Organisation, a sports performance analysis consultancy that provided video analysis technology and performance analysts to the most successful rugby, football and cricket teams in the World. For over 7 years he was an industry expert on utilizing analysis and coaching technology to improve sports performance.

After selling the business he moved to Careerbuilder where he was responsible for selling Facebook, Yahoo! and MSN online recruitment solutions to FTSE 250 companies for over three years.

Colm is also a founding member of a number of industry leading Think Tanks including the Direct Resourcing Think Tank, The Digital Leaders Think Tank.

Colm has been a semi professional rugby player for over 13 years and currently plays prop for Esher in the English Championship



With an outstanding record of over 20 years’ experience in leading edge technology companies, Tim brings an important level of insight and know-how to eSocialMedia.

Having gained a great deal of international experience through management positions in large software companies (Micro Focus, Merant) as well as startups (SealedMedia) Tim started Effectivate in 2006 to provide best-in-class selection tools to the recruitment leaders in large UK businesses, and remains on the board today. This background in the recruitment sector led him to co-found the Direct Resourcing Think Tank.

As well as being a keen motorcyclist, Tim is a big music lover and at weekends you’ll frequently find him playing guitar with his band Whiteside.



Kieran has worked as an IT and management consultant for almost ten years. He has worked with some of the world’s best companies from the insurance, banking, government and technology industries. His clients included Microsoft, Nortel, Ireland’s dep. of finance and Hewlett Packard amongst others. Kieran spent almost 5 years as a consultant in Accenture. During his time there he lead a number of successful project teams. He gained a detailed knowledge of the communication and information based challenges faced by large organisations across multiple industries in the public and private sector.

Kieran developed an avid interest in utilising online technology to increase the efficiency of geographically distributed teams and communities of practice.Following the completion of his BSc in computer science, Kieran began his career in 2002 as a researcher for Hewlett Packard working within an expert team researching cutting edge semantic web technologies. During his 5 years in the research and development space Kieran was awarded a research MSc degree. He had an opportunity to analyse the integration complexities within a large organisation like HP. He lead an EU funded R&D team (in the national university of Ireland Galway) developing geo-spatial web service technology along with technology partners from six other EU countries.

Kieran joined eSocialMedia in 2011 because of their innovative insightful approach to using social media technology to improve the efficiency of different business departments. He was delighted to have the opportunity to continue working with clients in the largest and most innovative companies in the world. Kieran has taken responsibility for project managing the eSocialMedia consultancy team and maintaining and updating the company’s social media strategy and implementation methodology.



Whilst Matias was in Chile, he worked with well-known brands such as Mizuno, Heineken and Mazda as a marketing and audiovisual advertiser.

Becoming experienced in building successful strategies and campaigns, Matias then worked for real estate company C&P properties and Rockaxis, the biggest rock brand in Chile (comprising a magazine, Tv studio, Broadcasting station and a web portal), where his main role was to manage the marketing/strategies and branding plans. He also worked for PMD (Product, Marketing, Distribution) as a consultant, developing a new integrated brand communication plan.

Matias is now heading up the online marketing department, creating content, engaging in online conversations and creating communities.

Matias is also a pro guitar player who enjoys playing/teaching and also being training full contact/kick boxing for several years.



Sam joined eSocialMedia in November 2009 and brings a detailed knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry to eSocialMedia. Sam has brought a dynamic edge to eSocialMedia developing partnerships with innovative technologies such as BugleMe, Mogreet, Cameo Stars and Crowdworks as well as bringing on board new clients from the sporting, retail, legal and recruitment sectors.

Before joining eSocialMedia, Sam was a professional rugby player for seven years turning out for London Wasps, Harlequins, Leeds and Esher. He was an important part of a number of disciplined, highly competitive, winning environments operating in a leadership role.

In his time as a rugby player Sam played in the Premiership and European competitions, winning the Championship in 2006- 2007 with Leeds and gaining junior international caps for England.

As well as being a keen cricketer and chef, Sam is passionate to the point of being obsessive about executing any sort of practical joke however unlikely or ambitious. You have been warned!



Has an MSc in International Marketing specialising in Social Media from Strathclyde University in Scotland. His specialism is understanding how social media can be applied to businesses to improve multichannel sales and customer relationship management. Shobhit created a methodology for companies to turn online conversation into online sales and has created another methodology to retain customers by refining the link between CRM and online customer conversations.

After successfully managing and implementing many of eSocialMedia’s largest projects in London, Shobhit was promoted to India. Shobhit has been tasked with making eSocialMedia the most recognised and respected consultancy for Enterprise Social Media in Mumbai in 2011 and for India by 2013.

Shobhit’s other passions are weight training, fitness and online gaming.



Amy has a strong background of working with public sector organisations such as the British Armed Forces, the Health Protection Agency and local authorities. It was her involvement in community outreach projects and public consultation exercises when working as a Town Planner that she realised to what great effect online communications, in particular social media could be used to engage and involve local communities in matters that sometimes otherwise felt like they were happening behind closed doors. In 2011 she decided to make her growing passion for social media into a career and hasn’t looked back!

When not tweeting, blogging or on Facebook, Amy can be found llama treking, canoeing, walking or dreaming about what far flung destination she can visit next!
