eSocialMedia has developed a workshop based training and enablement process called eSocialFoundation that allows staff to listen, target and engage with their target audience in online business conversations. These conversations enhance the quality of business relationships and can be applied to departments such as sales, business development, recruitment, R&D, customer services etc. The process and methodology is tried and tested and has worked for international lawyers, engineers, R&D professionals and headhunter recruiters and many other types of companies.

The enablement process for SME’s involves four workshop based training sessions over the course of a month to six weeks and during that time eSocialMedia also builds and optimises the client’s blogging website and all of their relevant social media channels and pages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling to the Managing Directors of recruitment companies in London with between 5 and 500 staff.

The candidate will be part of a team of three that includes a Social Media Trainer and a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will supply leads for the SME Social Media Advisor to talk to and arrange meetings with and the Social Media Trainer will deliver the training and liaise with the web developers.

The SME Social Media Advisor will meet with Managing Directors of SME recruitment companies in London, establish their objectives and advise them on how best the eSocialFoundation process could be applied to their business objectives.

The following are the desired candidate capabilities or experience:

0. The ability to independently fix appointments with the managing directors of recruitment companies (although leads will be provided daily by the Social Media Manager)
1. Experience of selling to SME recruitment firms in the UK
2. Managing a busy schedule to schedule, attend and follow up on meetings in London
3. The ability to listen to the clients objectives and having the credibility to be able to quantify the value of achieving those objectives in terms of money, time and brand.
4. Good presentation skills and an ability to connect with different characters and personalities
5. The ability to handle objections from some of the hardest people to sell to in the UK – recruiters.
6. The ability to negotiate on price and terms.
7. The ability to up-sell existing clients
8. Demonstrate an understanding of social media tools and websites.
9. Be able to write well written blog posts and create interesting video blog content if asked by management to do so.
10. Be punctual and well organised.
11. Have a track record of selling deals valued between £5k and £50k to recruitment companies in London.
12. A can-do and positive attitude is a must. You will receive lots of support and help but you must be a self starter and be self motivated. Working hours and location are flexible after an initial three month period being office based so you should be able to demonstrate that you can work independently and as part of a team.

14. Be able to follow up from sales meetings professionally and within a short time span.
